AQUATICS CLASS CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:
In the event a class is cancelled by the Alameda Recreation and Park Department, you will receive a full refund.
Swim levels with less than four students enrolled are subject to cancellation or may be combined with another level
Cancellations initiated by the client must be requested a minimum of five (5) business days prior to the start of the program. Refunds will no longer be issued. You will receive credit less a $15 administrative fee which will be applied to your ARPD Account to be used for any future ARPD class or program.
If a participant attends any class, credit will be prorated and assessed the $15 processing fee.
CREDITS OR MAKE-UP CLASSES WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR LESSONS YOU MISS OR FOR LACK OF STUDENT PARTICIPATION
LAP SWIMMING (16 Years and Older)
Lap swimming is a great way to get into shape or tone up your muscles. Pre-registration is not required, but all fees are to be paid prior to admittance. Kick boards are provided. NO children are to be left unattended on the pool deck or in the facility while parent or guardian swims laps. In case of lightning, lap swim will not be held.

Fees (payable at the door):
Adults - 16 to 49 years old
Alameda Residents - $4 / Non-Residents - $5
Seniors - 50 years & over
Alameda Residents - $2 / Non-Residents - $3
AQUATIC SPORTS 101 (Ages 9-19 Years)
It’s not always easy to find programs for aquatic sports. Have you ever wanted to brush up on stroke technique when you’re swimming laps? Intrigued by water polo but don’t know how to play? Want to play sports in high school, but not sure which one?
Here’s your chance to find out about one or both! Instructor’s discretion required for anyone outside of the age range listed below.
