You may register in person or mail completed form and payment to:

Just a reminder for those using our Online Registration - Don't wait until the last minute to sign up for classes. You cannot register online on the first day of class or once the class has begun. Remember to print your receipt once you have finished registering online (this is your only opportunity). We will not be sending any confirmations to you. Please e-mail us at arpd@ci.alameda.ca.us or call ARPD Staff at (510) 747-7529 during regular business hours to update your ARPD account (grade changes, address/phone corrections, additions to your account, etc.)

ARPD CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:

It is very important to pre-register for programs to guarantee that a class will be offered. In the event a class is cancelled by the Alameda Recreation and Park Department, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellations initiated by the client must be requested a minimum of five (5) business days prior to the start of the program. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED. There is a $15 administrative fee for any changes, transfers, withdrawals, etc. You will receive a credit on your ARPD account to be used by you or anyone in your family for any future ARPD classes or programs.
NO CREDITS OR MAKE-UPS GIVEN SHOULD YOU MISS A CLASS.

2010-2011 Club Underground

For Teens Currently In 6th to 8th Grades
After School Pick-Up Services for Middle Schoolers Only

The Underground Teen Center is open to school kids currently in the 6th, 7th and 8th Grades after school for computers, games, homework help, sports activities, and a safe place to be with friends.

School Pick-Up Times: 2:50-3:00 p.m.
Pick-ups are earlier on early dismissal days and modified days.

Transportation to THE UNDERGROUND is provided from Academy of Alameda, Alameda Community Learning Center (ACLC), Lincoln, NEA and Wood Middle Schools in City of Alameda vehicles for a fee of $2 per trip (or you may wish to purchase a non-refundable Ride Pass for $20 for 10 rides).

Participants are responsible for checking themselves in to the Teen Center Staff after school. NO LATE PICK UPS IF YOU MISS THE BUS! There will be NO pick-ups on Public School Holidays and AUSD Staff Development Days.

Participants must be registered before they will be allowed to ride in City vehicles. Pick-ups on school days only!

DISMISSAL AND PICK UP INFORMATION:

School Pick Up:
10 minutes after dismissal time
Fee: $2 per trip
(or purchase a non-refundable $20 Ride Pass for 10 rides)
Parents may pick up their teen at the Teen Center by 5:30 p.m.

Looking for that special place to hold your teen's party? Look no further. The Club Underground Teen Center is available for rental for birthdays and parties.

Some amenities included are:

Pool Table
Ping Pong Table
Big Screen Television
Couches
Extra Room in the back for food serving or additional activites
