Using the Database
If you have any problems accessing the database, please ensure you have the most current version of your web browser and have pop-up blockers disabled.
Users can either browse documents or search for specific words or phrases. The following documents are currently available:
- Minutes (2000 – present)
- Agenda Packets (2004 – present)
- Resolutions (July 2009 – present)
- City Council Policies/Guidelines (1995 – present)
- Campaign Disclosure Reports (July 2009 – present)
Click here to browse or search the database.
Browsing
Documents are stored in folders by subject matter. Click on folders to find a specific document. Once the document is opened, pages can be viewed using the toolbar at the top. To scroll through the document, it must be converted to PDF (see Printing and Scrolling instructions below).
Searching
You can search for a particular word or phrase in the Weblink database. Select a particular folder under the browse tab prior to selecting the search tab to narrow the search. After the search is complete, a list of documents that contain the word or phrase is generated. The hits column next to the document name indicates the number of times the word or phrase occurs within the document. Click the number under the hits column to display the occurrences of the word or phrase within that document at the bottom of the entire list. Then, click the occurrence you wish to view to go to that page of the document. Clicking the document name will take you to the first page of the document, rather than the occurrence of the word or phrase.
Printing and Scrolling
Printing or scrolling through documents requires that the pages be converted to PDF format. To convert a document to PDF, click the PDF icon on of the page navigation bar as indicated in the image below.
Move cursor over image to zoom in.
Some documents are very large. The system can convert up to 75 pages at one time. If a document has more than 75 pages, the conversion will create multiple PDF documents. The conversion process is slower than a regular printing function because the PDF conversion takes several seconds for each page.
City Council Document Archives
