Public Meeting Rooms at the Main Library:
Small group study rooms that can accommodate 4-6 persons are available, at no cost, on a same-day, first-come, first-served basis, the only exception are participants in the Alameda Reads Literacy Program who may sign up one day in advance.
Sign-up and entry into these study rooms are handled at the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor. There is a two hour time limit for use of the small group study rooms.
ROOMS AVAILABLE BY ADVANCE RESERVATION FOR PUBLIC USE:
- Community Meeting Room "A" - occupancy 63
- Community Meeting Room "B" - occupancy 88 (combined A & B occupancy 151)
- Family Study Room - occupancy 12
All reservation requests must be made in writing. There is a nominal fee for room use.
