The SR2S program also has implemented puppet show safety assemblies for elementary school kids at Bay Farm, Otis and Washington schools; and bicycle safety classes at Chipman and Lincoln middle schools. "The puppet show was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed by our students and staff – lots of teachable moments from it," stated Jane Lee, principal of Bay Farm Elementary School. The SR2S program is funded by the countywide Measure B half-cent sales tax for transportation, which is administered by the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority.
